Concert Hippique moves and enchants
The high expectations for Concert Hippique were fully fulfilled last Thursday and Friday evening at Landgoed Culitsrode in Hooge Mierde. The chemistry between live music and horses had to add an extra dimension to what people were used to at horse shows. It was clear from the frenzied reaction of the audience that that chemistry was there for the full 100%.
The beautiful interplay between Trijntje Oosterhuis and the horses brought tears and goosebumps to those present.
After a champagne reception and a four-course dinner, more than 600 VIP guests went to the show arena where the Concert Hippique took place. The peak was kicked off by a herd of miniature horses from Stal Zegwaard, who stubbornly galloped through the arena to the sounds of 'Don't you worry 'bout a thing'.
An important part of the evening, the balloon raffle for charity, raised € 47,000 for the Brooke Hospital for Animals Foundation and the Humanitarian Aid to Children Foundation in the Ukraine.
